It clarifies that the 46-year-old US citizen is accused of 63 points, of
including hate crimes, the use of firearms and obstruction of religious ceremonies.

As the federal prosecutor noted during the trial, Bowers "is accused of committing crimes for which the death penalty is provided."

The prosecution estimates that the Bowers trial can take up to three weeks.

At the end of October, the Federal jury filed charges against 44 counts against Robert Bowers.

On October 27, a man opened fire on parishioners at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11 people.
