New Zealand star Bobby Bell Williams has visited the hospital to comfort those injured in the attack on two synagogues in Christchurch, New Zealand, which killed 50 people and injured 48.

"I visited my Muslim brothers today and heard their stories that gave me a lot of strength," he said.

The Muslim hero Williams was also keen to perform Friday prayers in the city to comfort Muslims who were affected by the disaster of the terrorist attack.

Williams led his country to the Rugby World Cup in 2011 and 2015 and converted to Islam in 2009 after meeting a Tunisian Muslim family living with her five children in a small apartment in Toulon, southern France.
