The head of Criminal Investigation Department in the Criminal Security Sector, Colonel Amran Ahmed Al Mazrouei, called on members of the community to avoid disclosing their confidential bank statements, even to those with bank balances or credit cards.

He pointed to the spread of links to the customers of banks asking them to expedite the use of opportunities to obtain offers of excellence, after soliciting to register the bank statements at the counterfeit banking sites, usually linked to the registration speed and flexible steps, and a limited time to a few minutes, to trick the participants .

The cards include "miles, rewards, purchases, points collection, cash refunds", prepaid Internet cards and other credit cards that promote easy discounts and offer exclusive and different benefits to customers, And marketed by banks and banks.

He warned fraudsters who are always seeking to renew their deceptive methods to lure their victims in ways that are misleading, under which fraud, after obtaining information on their bank accounts.

He explained that the fraudster after obtaining the data related to the issuer of the credit card to report the change of address of a valid card, where he has all confidential information to the bank account, and then reported loss and request replacement card containing a new secret number, is sent to the new address, On account balances.

He stressed the need for banking agents to comply with the requirements of the concerned parties, and the police's warnings regarding the fight against cybercrime and the speed of reporting it in the event of damage, in order to be able to track and respond to such crimes.
