Abu Dhabi Police has stepped up its outreach efforts to raise awareness of the dangers of sudden vehicle disruptions to improve drivers' behavior to best practices as part of efforts to achieve the highest levels of traffic safety.
The sudden deviation ranked second in the list of reasons that led to traffic accidents last year in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by 14%.
She pointed out that the awareness campaign currently being implemented comes within the framework of the road safety strategy and includes comprehensive awareness programs on the main causes of traffic accidents.
