The Givati brigade of the Israeli occupation army (spearhead of land operations) completed large-scale military maneuvers in the northern Jordan Valley and sparked a confrontation on the Lebanese front.

Armed forces, engineering units and armored forces participated in the exercises, which were used in live fire. The soldiers of the brigade trained to occupy rugged mountainous areas, fight street battles in difficult weather conditions, and evacuate the wounded from the battlefield.

The exercises, which took place in geographic areas very similar to southern Lebanon, are the last part of a series of maneuvers conducted by various units on the northern front in recent months.

One senior IDF officer described the maneuvers as the largest and most complex, while Al-Jazeera reported that in recent years, Israeli military maneuvers have focused on the possibility of a new war with Hezbollah in Lebanon or on the Syrian front against the background of Iranian military presence there.

Last week, the Israeli navy concluded exercises in the Mediterranean, dubbed "Sea of Fury", during which it launched a missile attack against hostile ships and boats.

The Israeli army said it fired the rockets 100 kilometers away and four warships.

These maneuvers are part of the protection of natural gas extraction platforms, one of Israel's most vital strategic facilities, which is believed to be a target in any future confrontation.
