The number of bicycles registered in the name of establishments licensed for commercial activities, including the delivery activity, is 26,700 bicycles, representing 26% of the delivery bicycles, while the remaining number of licensed bikes is distributed to other activities.
In March last year, the TRA announced, in coordination with the other concerned destinations, the adoption of a set of requirements for the specifications of the Motorcycle Fund for the delivery of materials of various types, in the framework of the agreement on the specialization of each party with the tasks entrusted to it, to ensure the control of the safety of this type of activities. The requirements also include that the transport box should have internal lighting on all sides. The box should be mounted on top of the bike so that no space is left between it and the bike frame. The outer surface of the box is made of plastic and has no sharp edges.
