11 human rights organizations condemned the arrest campaigns launched by the Iranian authorities and the suppression of freedom of opinion and expression in the region of Ahwaz and abroad, and filed a complaint against the Iranian authorities in the Human Rights Council because of the Iranian regime's threat to the writer and political analyst Dr. Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, after he condemned the policy of the Iranian authorities Against Ahwaz Arabs.

Dr. Abdul Khaleq Abdullah stressed that his country had lived with the Iranian threat and dealt with it with all success. This was in the first statement of the Emirati academic after receiving a number of Iranian threats after a tweet against the backdrop of the attack on a military parade in the city of Ahwaz.

"We live 100 kilometers from the Iranian border, and we have lived with this system that has been in Iran since 1979 for more than 30 years," Dr. Abdullah said in an interview with IRM News on the sidelines of a seminar organized by the Abu Dhabi Policy Council in Abu Dhabi. So we know the challenge, and we dealt with it with all success and we knew how to deal with this challenge. "

"I am sure, whatever the Iranian threats, today and tomorrow, the UAE will be able to deal with this Iranian threat, which is increasing day by day, with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states," Abdullah said.

According to reliable sources from Ahwaz, the Iranian security forces raided the homes of a number of Ahwazis in large parts of the Ahwaz region, as a result of their opinion on the policy of the Iranian authorities to impoverish the Arab Ahwaz people, and the destruction of the environment and the spread of poverty and homelessness.

Human rights groups have expressed concern that after the attack against the armed forces in the city of Ahwaz, Iranian authorities have launched more arrests against activists who believe in freedom of opinion and expression in Ahwaz.

Human rights organizations have warned the Iranian authorities of any misconduct by the Iranian authorities against Dr. Abdul Khaliq Abdullah.

Human rights organizations have strongly condemned Iranian policies in Ahwaz, such as arbitrary arrests, torture and enforced disappearances, and urged the international community to intervene immediately to end the tragedy of Ahwaz. It also urged international bodies and institutions to exert more pressure on the Iranian authorities to stop their policies in Al-Ahwaz and put an end to their threats against the Emirati citizen Dr. Abdul Khaleq Abdullah.

The complaint was signed by 11 human rights organizations: the Gulf European Center for Human Rights, the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society, the Lebanese Foundation for Democracy and Human Rights (LIFE), the International Human Rights Mission, the Syrian War Documentation Center, the Karama Human Rights Society in Bahrain, The Human Rights Center, the Ahwaz Center for Human Rights, the Baloch Observatory for Human Rights, the Arab Gate for Cultural Rights and Freedoms and the Arab Observatory for Trade Rights and Freedoms.
