A 10-year-old Arab girl was sentenced to death by a criminal court in Ras Al Khaimah for causing the death of a friend with an overdose of drugs while in a person's house with a third friend.

She also sentenced her boyfriend (the second defendant) to one year of mental abuse and imprisoned the owner of the house (the third accused) for two years for possessing and facilitating the use of psychotropic substances.

The court acquitted a fourth defendant, the wife of the accused, of a charge of mental abuse.

According to the indictment, the first defendant went with her friend to watch, and gave her a dose of crystal effect, causing her to fainting and then her death. The defendant confessed to giving the drug to her friend, and the second accused confessed to using the crystal effect in the third defendant's home.

The prosecutor charged the owner of the house with possession of narcotics, and facilitated the use of drugs, and admitted before the court possession of narcotic substances, and that the second defendant got the crystal effect and ate at his home.

The first defendant asked the court to use clemency on her right, and she admitted that she was wrong and blasphemous. She asked the court to finely fined her instead of imprisoning her. Ras al-Khaimah police received a report from the hospital stating that a girl had been brought to the hospital. After the examination of the body, the death was caused by an overdose of the crystal anesthetic.

The girls admitted, first and second, to possess and facilitate the abuse of their girlfriend drug substances, and transfer after fainting by ambulance to the hospital.
