President Moon Jae-in will leave for the US this afternoon (10th) for US-Korea summit. During a short visit of 3 days and 1 night, President Trump will host a sole, extended summit and business luncheon. Moon Jae - in 's visit to the United States is a short three - day working visit to Trump and the summit.

Mr. Moon, who departs from Seoul Airport this afternoon, will stay overnight at the White House guesthouse, meet with Secretary of State Pompeii, Bolton 's White House security adviser and Vice President Fen' s before the summit.

The summit will be held at the White House at 1 am in the morning.

Mr. Moon is scheduled to hold a two - hour business luncheon with a summit meeting, both inside and outside the summit, and an enlargement talks with key cabinet members and staff members.

The Hanoi summit will be held on a four-month visit to the United States. The presidential office said the meeting will be held on the basis of a common understanding that talks between the two Koreas are important to revive the momentum of dialogue.
