Since its launch in March 2019, the Hopemakers initiative has attracted a large number of young men and women from across the Arab world who are looking to contribute to spreading hope and making positive change.

To date, the Hopemakers has received thousands of stories of hope from individuals and groups with projects and initiatives that seek to help people, improve the quality of life, or contribute to solving some of the challenges their societies face.

The Hopemakers Initiative seeks to spread inspirational stories from the Arab world to people who inspire others who are looking to change their societies for the better.

A number of winners of the previous two sessions of the "Hopemakers" initiative recently went to the Iraqi capital of Baghdad as part of an Arab tour celebrating the activity of hope makers in a number of Arab cities.

Hisham Al-Thahabi, the founder of the Iraqi House of Creativity, and Al-Assousi, a Kuwaiti immigrant to Yemen, dedicated her life to helping women, children and the needy. He also visited Mahmud Wahid, the Egyptian youth of the "Save the Human" initiative to shelter the elderly, A number of educational and humanitarian institutions in Baghdad, where they shared their experience in the hope industry with a group of students and humanitarian workers, as well as a number of Iraqi initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and improving the quality of life in various regions of Iraq.

Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Alwan, Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul-Hussein Abtan, Transport Minister Abdullah Luaibi and Kuwait's ambassador to Iraq, Salim Al-Zamanan.

During the visit, "Hopemakers" participated in launching a polio vaccination campaign launched by the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment to combat the disease in all governorates of Iraq. The group also held meetings with a number of Iraqi officials, including First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim Al Kaabi and Director General of NGOs, Mohammad Taher Al Tamimi.

The "Hopemakers" participated in a conference held at Mustansiriya University and visited a number of humanitarian institutions such as Al Amal Association, the Iraqi Creativity House, the Volunteer With Us Foundation and the Iraqi Medical Syndicate in Baghdad.
