The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) hosted a group of stakeholders on a mass transit journey to celebrate the Public Connector Day, which falls on November 1, in order to encourage those interested in the use of public transport.

Emirates Al-Youm accompanied the owners of the journey from Al-Rashidiya Metro station, with the participation of a number of concerned employees of the Authority and the Dubai Police. The journey went to Al Jafiliya station and the owners of the public buses went to the Union Museum, where they held a workshop. Nabil Abdulkarim, one of the participants in the journey with the mobility disability, told Emirates Today that many of the specifications and standards in Dubai's mass transit facilities and facilities are superior in quality and advantages to many of the developed countries he usually visits. Ahmed Mohammed, one of the owners of the handicap, said that he used land transport more easily than maritime transport, noting that he had some difficulty getting to the dock of the shipping station.

On the sidelines of the Dubai Youth Workshop to Enhance the Use of Mass Transport, the Dubai Taxi Foundation, Dr. Yousuf Al Ali, stressed that the Authority pays great attention to supporting the needs of stakeholders, as one of the active groups in society and contributing to its development. .

He pointed out the importance of the workshops held for the various categories of customers of the Authority and reflected positively on the type of services provided to them. He added that the participation of young people in these workshops is of great importance because they convey their vision stemming from their circumstances, experiences and needs that are consistent with the circumstances of their age, And smart gadgets in various fields of life.

He added that young people of interest have different aspirations, which correspond to the age in which they live, and therefore demand the use of modern technology and modern technologies in the way of providing the services of the Commission to them.
