The Emirates Red Crescent Authority opened the Marsa Al Ruwais fishing and landing project at the Al-Mukhaa Governorate in the western coast of Yemen after it was completed.

The Authority explained that the opening of the project in the year of tolerance comes as a culmination of its efforts to complete the normalization of the situation in the cities and villages and areas of the West Coast, and it is among the projects of fishing and fish landing, carried out along the coast, aimed at revitalizing the fishing sector.

For his part, Director General of the Directorate of Al-Mukhaa, Sultan Abdullah Mahmoud, said that the projects carried out by the Commission in the coastal sector of the West Coast are equipped with solar energy and include advanced fishing equipment that enabled fishermen to return to practice fishing.

Al-Ruwais Village, Abdulkarim Aa'id, valued the support provided by the UAE Red Crescent Society to the Ruwais. He pointed out that in the year 2018, the Authority provided an integrated solar energy system for the region, benefiting 600 families. 2019 », the Authority established and equipped the Marsa Al Ruwais fishing and fishing project, which will benefit the people of the region.

For their part, anglers expressed their delight at the opening of the Ruwais fishing and fishing landing project, which will contribute to the re-development and development of fishing.

On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates Red Crescent Society (RCRC) conducted a convoy carrying food aid to the residents of the Ahwar district of Abyan governorate, in continuation of the humanitarian assistance provided by the UAE to the people of the liberated areas in Yemen.
