In the Investigation Committee of Russia in the Orenburg Region, a criminal case was initiated into abuse of office by members of the Orskoye MU Department of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia (Section “a”, part 3, article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Anzhelika Linkova, the official representative of the department, told RT that there are no concrete suspects in the beating yet: their exact number, as well as the identity of the law enforcement officers are now being established.

"Investigators are questioning the managers and employees of the department for control over drug trafficking at the Orsk Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia, mother of a teenager, eyewitnesses to the detention," the UK informed.

The incident became known on December 16, when a local resident Leyla Abudenova appealed to the local newspaper Ural56.ru with a statement about the beating on December 14 of her husband and her 13-year-old son by police officers. In confirmation of her words, the woman provided a 50-second video.

The process of apprehending one of the suspects in drug trafficking got in the camera lens. The frames show how a Nissan Teana car parked in the wasteland, around which there are two people, is approached by several cars. About a dozen men rush out of the cars, knocking people onto the snow, beating and kicking at the same time.

At this point, the third passenger tried to get out of the cabin of the Teana, several people also jumped up to him and knocked him to the ground. The footage shows that none of the detainees is trying to resist.

After the incident was reported by other local media, he was noticed in the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Upon the publication of information and videos on the Internet, a service check has been scheduled. According to the results of the audit, an assessment will be given to the actions of the participants in the incident, ”the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on December 17.

According to the press service of the ministry on Friday, the inspection continues and no new information has been received on this issue.

Leyla Abudenova herself gives details about the beatings. “They handcuffed the child, the husband, who did not resist, was beaten by three police officers. They were put in different cars. This is visible from the cameras. And when I arrived I was not allowed to the child. They said that there are no children here. Here the detainees are intoxicated. Push away from the car. I started calling the police, then they removed the handcuffs and opened the door of the car where my child was. Before contacting the law enforcement authorities, Abudenova removed the beatings inflicted on her son. “He has a bruise on his jaw, bruises on his hands from handcuffs. The son told the police when they beat him that he was only 13 years old, but they continued to beat him. They also looked at his pockets, ”she said.

According to the woman, her husband has an oncological disease, in connection with which she keeps at home medicines that contain narcotic substances. Currently, the detained spouse is in the SIZO, as the police found the drugs in his pocket during the arrest. Abudenova claims that they were planted on him.

“Searches were in the car and at home, they did not find anything there. We arrived home with ready-made witnesses and protocols. Until I called the lawyer, I wasn’t allowed another witness on my part. Moreover, at home we have narcotic drugs, as he is an cancer patient. Why would a person, having regular access, run and search. He knows very well that he will die in prison, ”she said.

At the same time, the detainee’s spouse admitted that he had previously been tried and had used drugs once.
