Seven people who escaped from the body barely evacuated along the trail.

The tsunami victims totaled 281 people, up 60 people in a day.

More than 1,000 people are injured and about 50 people are missing. The deceased were all known locals.

Desperate rescue work has been carried out to find survivors in the ruins, and victims who have lost their lives are shaken in temporary shelters.

[Tsunami: I was really scared. I have not been home for two days now, and I asked my son-in-law to confirm the house.

The Indonesian government has evacuated more than 3,000 residents of the coastal area to the highlands, saying there is little possibility of additional tsunamis.
