According to the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the potential increase in tuition fees for schools that maintain their rating compared to last year is 2.07%, the same as the same cost of education index issued by the Dubai Statistics Center for the next school year.

In a report issued yesterday, the TRA said that the potential increases in fees for private schools in the emirate will be based on the evaluation issued by the school's monitoring authority. The increase in schools rated "very good" to "outstanding" ), For schools with a "good" to "very good" (education cost index x 1.75), for "under-good" schools (the cost of education × 2), and no increase in fees for schools with a declining rating .

The Commission noted that 90% of students will not bear a potential increase in fees more than the cost of education index, while 10% of students have a potential increase in fees beyond the value of the cost of education index.

The Commission emphasized that the system of organizing tuition fees is aimed at achieving cooperation between government agencies and the private sector, providing quality educational services, providing various options for education at affordable prices, and enhancing flexibility and transparency in a way that respects the interests of all parties.
