The Ministry of Health and Community Protection warned against the use of breast implants and the possibility of cancer.
According to Administrative Circular No. 2501 issued by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licenses, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Drug Awakening Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, it is based on a warning from the US Food and Drug Administration about breast implants and the possibility of accompanying them with a type of cancer called "Anaplastic Large Cell Ymphoma "BIA-ALCL", the Department called on all health care practitioners to inform the users of the medical facility of the risks they may face.
The management also called on health care practitioners to collect the serum Seroma for analysis, in order to exclude the disease, as well as all users of the medical means mentioned the need to communicate with their doctors to take the necessary precautions.
The ministry recommended that all health care practitioners take precautions when using these plants and follow their patients in the event of any side effects.
The ministry appealed to all the directors of the medical regions, government and private hospitals, doctors and pharmacists, and directors of government and private pharmacies, to take necessary measures regarding the content of the circular. The ministry also appealed to patients suffering from any side effects, To provide the necessary assistance.
