Googlers from all over the world are striking the alliance everywhere. I want to protest against sexual harassment in the workplace and the company to hide it.

More details will be delivered by Los Angeles Chung Joon-hyung correspondent.

I am a Google office in New York, USA.

At around 11 am local time, Googlers walk out of the office and walk out of the building. I protested against a company that tried to cover up sexual harassment in the workplace and went on strike today.

[Google employee (New York office): Protecting women and protesting how the company handles sexual harassment cases. I want real change and I want people to be interested in this issue.]

The strike will be conducted at Google headquarters in California and at more than 20 offices worldwide, including the UK, Germany and Japan.

[Googler Staff (London, UK): Employees came to strike. I walked to support the victims of molestation.]

The strike is the first in a series of media reports that Google has concealed Andy Rubin's sexual harassment, known as the Android founder, and gave him a retirement payout of 100 billion won.

Employees involved in the strike have urged transparency in investigating sexual harassment cases and include employee representatives in the board for sexual harassment and sex discrimination.

[I want structural changes in the company to ensure transparency, accountability and fairness.]

Google said it plans to actively review its employees' opinions on the strike.
