It is a friendship dinner on the first day of the second North American summit held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

On the US side, Secretary of State Pompeii and Mr.

John Bolton, a hardliner for North Korea, was absent from his position, and he only sat on the enlarged bilateral talks the following day.

But Bolton was reported to have been the work of American officials when he was absent from the friendship dinner on the first day.

The Washington Post quotes US officials as saying the hard-line Bolton aide was excluded from the list because of concerns that it could harm the talks.

Bolton said the authorities prevented him from putting cold water at the dinner table.

The Washington Post also said President Trump has a strong belief that hard-liners will not want to undermine his diplomatic achievements in his dealings with North Korea.

After the collapse of the Hanoi summit, President Trump has been obsessed with negotiations, unlike his aides.

Trump said he was dismissed by President Trump and other staff members because of differences in his views on the North Korean route.
