A major fire in a chemical plant in a suburb of Houston provides thick clouds of smoke over the Texas metropolis. According to US media reports, the fire broke out in Deer Park harbor in Houston on Sunday, as petrol gas leaked from a leak in a tank and ignited.
Quickly, the flames had seized several large tanks containing various chemicals and fuels. The fire department tried to prevent the flames from expanding, expecting it would take until Wednesday to completely extinguish the fire. People were not harmed.
