The bottle post of a five-year-old German boy has been found after four months in the sea on Israel's coast. 14-year-old Israeli Roni Aharon told TV channel Aruz 12 that her parents had discovered the bottle with the note near Akko, a spokeswoman confirmed. The port city is located near the northern border of Israel.

"The letter was in German and in English," said the adolescent. "It said that five-year-old Noah and his parents are on vacation in Greece," she said. "He wanted to try if the bottle would arrive anywhere."

The Israeli family wrote to an e-mail address listed in the letter. "You wrote a very emotional response," said the girl. "Little Noah was so excited that the message in the bottle arrived." The parents - a couple from Berlin - sent pictures and invited the Israelis to Germany. "It's a nice thought to fly to Berlin," said the 14-year-old.

"Despite everything, it's important not just throw bottles into the sea," she joked at the end of the post.
