In the Stuttgart trial for human trafficking and forced prostitution in the "Paradise" brothel chain, the former managing director was sentenced to two years in prison on probation. Among other things, the 53-year-old has contributed to trafficking and sexual exploitation, the judge said.

At the same time, the husband accepted that women in the large brothel in Leinfelden-Echterdingen had been forced into prostitution. He had made a wide confession in the proceedings.

The main brothel also included many women under the age of 21, some from Eastern Europe. In many cases they have been made docile with threats or beatings. The trial against the three other defendants, which has been ongoing since March, is not expected to end until next year.

The main defendant is the now 65-year-old former operator of the brothel chain. The man has been in detention since September 2017 in Stuttgart. He is accused, inter alia, of promoting serious trafficking in human beings for sexual exploitation, aiding and abetting and fraud. In 2008 he opened his first red light house at the gates of Stuttgart. There were other large companies in Frankfurt, Saarbrücken and Graz added. Accused are employees, including his press and marketing chief.

For years, the brothel chief propagated a supposedly clean prostitution. He only offered the platform - the rooms and a wellness environment. The prostitutes would have worked there independently. What is in the indictment sounds different: In the brothels, therefore, the rocker clubs "Hells Angels" and "United Tribuns" had the say. They allegedly let the women buy and cashed.
