Around eight months after the violent death of 14-year-old Susanna F. from Mainz, the public prosecutor's office in Wiesbaden has filed charges against the suspect Ali B. The Iraqi is accused of rape and homicide, as well as to cover a crime, as the agency said.
In addition, B. is charged with two further separate cases. He is accused of rape in coincidence with severe sexual abuse of children in two cases and severe robbery in tandem with dangerous bodily injury and coercion.
Susanna F's body had been found in early June 2018, two weeks after the girl's disappearance. B. had dropped off after the fact in Iraq, where he was arrested by Kurdish security forces. After that he was brought to Germany. In his hearing on the detention, B. had confessed to the killing of the 14-year-old, but denied a rape.
