A motorist fell in Rhineland-Palatinate with his car from a bridge and died. As the police announced, the 30-year-old was on Thursday evening at 10:15 pm on the B9 from Oggersheim to Frankenthal on the way, as his vehicle came off the track for now unexplained cause.

The car overrun reportedly several signs, rolled over a green area, broke through a bridge railing and crashed several feet deep on a road. The driver died at the accident site. Other people were not in the car. An appraiser should now help to clarify the cause of the accident.
