A dog has injured three passers-by in the Weinheim in Baden-Württemberg. Officials initially attempted to capture the free-roaming American Staffordshire Terrier. Since this did not succeed, they therefore shot several shots and injured the animal hard.

Several callers had previously alerted the police because a dog had attacked people. According to the 27-year-old dog owner, the two-year-old animal had freed himself from his collar and then attacked the passers-by.
