In the US, police have arrested a suspected cannibalist. According to the investigators, the man was looking for a young girl to kill, rape, and eat on a Darknet search ad.
The Texas man was arrested after an undercover police officer falsely offered him his daughter for the crime, police said in Florida. The 21-year-old threatens a life imprisonment.
In the darknet, a hard-to-reach part of the Internet, a Florida policeman had come across the Texan's search ad. "I would like to try desecration and cannibalism and see what it feels like to kill someone," it said.
The police officer contacted the sender and claimed to want to provide his underage daughter. The 21-year-old responded and wrote to the investigator: "I'm not interested in role-playing games, I really want to rape, kill and commit cannibalism."
The policeman then traveled to Texas and arrested the 21-year-old in mid-October. According to the police, the suspect was glad about his arrest: he is said to have said that he had not been in control and implemented his plan otherwise.
