This week, Paris des Arts is entirely devoted to African artists. First of all Imane Ayissi, the first stylist on the continent to have joined the very exclusive club of Parisian haute couture. He tells us about his beginnings as a dancer in Cameroon, then his first steps as a model in Paris. With him, we discover the work of the painter Chéri Samba, currently exhibited at the Maillol Museum for a major retrospective, including his pictorial chronicles of Congolese daily life. Then, another painter opens the doors of his creation to us: Alioune Diagne unveils in Paris a selection of six paintings on the theme of clandestine migration at sea. It can be discovered at the Templon gallery, in Paris.
