  At around 6 a.m. on January 22, landslides occurred in two village groups, Hexing and Heping, Liangshui Village, Tangfang Town, Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province.

According to preliminary verification, the disaster caused a total of 47 people in 18 households to lose contact.

  After the disaster occurred, the Yunnan Provincial Disaster Reduction Committee launched the Yunnan Provincial Natural Disaster Relief Emergency Level 2 response, and the Yunnan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps immediately launched a cross-regional rescue plan, investing a total of 812 people, 174 vehicles, and 45 dogs for full rescue.
