On the 20th, sponsored by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Health Science Popularization Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the 2023 Third Young Doctors Health Science Popularization Speech Competition National Finals was held in Beijing. Shen Xiaopei, Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention Won the national finals championship of this competition.
According to reports, since the registration channel for the competition was launched in February 2023, young doctors have actively participated and registered enthusiastically. A total of 1,231 people have registered, coming from 426 medical institutions across the country.
After multiple rounds of screening including offline selection, online assistance, direct competition, and resurrection competition, 23 outstanding young medical workers finally advanced to the national finals.
The theme of this health science popularization speech final is "New Power in Medicine, Good Voices in Science Popularization". 23 young doctors showed their talents in the professional field, combined with clinical practice, and used the most real cases and the most touching stories to explain in simple and easy-to-understand terms. Health science knowledge will lead the audience on a journey of wisdom to explore health.
After fierce competition, Shen Xiaopei of the Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention successfully won the national finals championship of the 3rd Young Doctors Health Science Popularization Speech Contest; Zhao Jing of the Second Hospital of Jilin University, Gao Wen of the Second People's Hospital of Anhui Province, and Nie Na of Tongling Municipal Hospital Won the second prize in the finals; Sun Jian from Nanning Second People's Hospital, Huang Ziyan from Shenzhen Luohu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Gao Xuewei from Yongchuan Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University, Hu Qi from Baotou Cancer Hospital, Qu Fengying from Tianjin Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Hospital, Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Xin Shiqing from the Affiliated Hospital won the third prize in the finals.
Lang Jinghe, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and honorary director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Shi Shengfeng, deputy secretary of the Party branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Zhang Zhang, director of the Health Science Popularization Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and president and editor-in-chief of the Union Medical College Press Ling, Tian Yantao, president of the Medical Science Popularization Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and director of the Pancreatic and Gastric Surgery Ward of the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhang Jinlong, assistant to the general manager of Lunan Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., attended the finals and delivered speeches.
According to the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, this competition has witnessed the persistence and love of young doctors for health science popularization. They are passionate and charming. They are well-deserved rising stars of science popularization and a bright spark for creating and disseminating medical health knowledge.
