Cold wave will affect central and eastern regions

  From the 20th to the 23rd, a cold wave will affect the central and eastern regions of my country from north to south. The temperature will drop by 6 to 10°C and will be accompanied by northerly winds of magnitude 4 to 5. Among them, central Inner Mongolia, northern Shaanxi, western North China, and eastern Jilin Temperatures in eastern Liaoning, eastern and southern Jiangnan, northern South China, and southern Guizhou will drop by 12 to 14°C, with local cooling rates exceeding 14°C. There will be light rain in parts of eastern Jianghuai, central Jiangnan, eastern Southwest, most of Guangxi, northwestern Guangxi, Taiwan Island and other places.

Some areas in southern Qinghai have winds of magnitude 5 to 6.

The Bohai Sea, most of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the northern and southwestern waters of the South China Sea will have northeasterly to northerly winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 (see Figure 2).
