A lawsuit filed by actress Sophie Turner, 27, against US singer Joe Jonas, 34, in the couple's separation dispute has been dismissed by a court in New York.

Several US media outlets report this unanimously.

Turner had previously withdrawn her accusation of “unlawful restraint” of her two children against her husband.

The British woman took legal action against Jonas in the fall.

In September, a few weeks after the announcement of their divorce, Turner asked the US singer to return their two children to her.

The daughters born in 2020 and 2022 were being unlawfully detained in New York, she claimed in a lawsuit at the time.

She wanted to bring the children to England.

The parents have now reached an agreement in the custody dispute and have had this approved by a judge in England, reports People magazine, citing court documents.

The children should therefore grow up alternately with their mother and father in the USA and England.

This meant that the lawsuit in New York could now be dismissed with the consent of both parties, it was said.

Wedding in Las Vegas and France

Jonas and Turner got engaged in 2017 and then tied the knot twice in 2019 - in May in Las Vegas and in July in France.

With his brothers Kevin and Nick, Joe founded the band Jonas Brothers in 2005, which was adored by teenagers.

The group broke up in 2013, but celebrated a comeback six years later with the album "Happiness Begins."

The brothers pursued solo careers and appeared in front of the film cameras.

The trio is currently on tour again in the USA.

Turner is from Northampton, England.

She became world famous for her role as Sansa Stark in the series “Game of Thrones”.

She also played Jean Gray in the films “X-Men: Apocalypse” (2016) and “Dark Phoenix” (2019).
