On September 2021, 9, 11 meters west of Wucheng South Road, Fendong Street, Xiaodian District, Taiyuan City, Taiyuan Pulihua Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. had a large poisoning accident during the cable well drainage operation of the "Taiyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone Plot 350-2016 Tanghuaiyuan Residential Community (Phase II and Phase III) Power Supply Project", resulting in 4 deaths and direct economic losses of more than 3.296 million yuan.

The "assessment report" pointed out that in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and regulations, as well as the Shanxi Provincial Government's approval of the "Taiyuan Pulihua Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. "9.11" Larger Poisoning Accident Investigation Report", Shanxi officials formed an accident assessment team to evaluate the implementation of the accident prevention and rectification measures.

In this accident, four relevant enterprises, including Taiyuan Pulihua Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Taiyuan Chenyu Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., were recommended to be given administrative punishments, and it was recommended that one person be investigated for criminal responsibility, 4 people should be punished for administrative punishment (including 1 Li Hong and Li Jin who were transferred to the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and required administrative punishment), and 11 people were transferred to the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision. After the assessment team reviewed the relevant information and verified, the Taiyuan Municipal People's Government and the Management Committee of the Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone have implemented administrative penalties for 4 relevant enterprises and 11 relevant responsible persons, with a total fine of 129.63 million yuan.
