As the most influential national symphony orchestra in Slovakia, the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra has gained a high reputation internationally, especially in the field of film, television, classical and popular music recordings, and is known for its excellent musical expression and high-quality music recordings.

Originating in Vienna's "Musikverein", the New Year's concert is usually a cheerful and popular selection, with a rich and varied melody to open the new year.

The performance was conducted by the internationally renowned conductor Rudolf Geri, and the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra presented Strauss's "Blue Danube", Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" Suite, Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody", Hobrahms's "Hungarian Dance" and many other world classics. The dynamic and jumping notes and charming and elegant melodies are accompanied by layered interpretations, making people feel the charm and magic of music in a romantic and touching movement.
