Just after 16 p.m. on the 7th, the boss of a woman living in an apartment complex in Terao, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, reported to the fire department that the woman did not go to work and went to her home, but it was locked and she could not confirm her safety.
When police and fire services searched the house, they found a 61-year-old part-time woman dead in the house.
According to the police, there was a son, Kojiro Endo (32), who lived with him and was unemployed, and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for allegedly assaulting and attempting to kill his mother from the night of the 15th to the night of the 16th.
The son was injured on his wrist, and he admitted to the charges, saying, "After helping my mother die, I was going to die myself, but I didn't."
Police are investigating the cause of the mother's death and the circumstances of the incident.
