Victorien left "Star Academy" on Saturday, December 3 at the end of the fifth prime of the season. The 23-year-old oyster farmer, who had never been on stage before, looks back on the highlights of his adventure for Europe1.fr.

Victorien had never imagined that he would be selected to participate in the Star Academy, he the young oyster farmer from Frontignan who had never been on stage and had never sung in front of a microphone. And yet, the apprentice singer has gone relatively far in the adventure. Eliminated after a month of intensive courses at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys, the academician returned home with stars in his eyes and memories in his head. For Europe1.fr, he confides in us about the best moments of his experience, his relationship with Margot and his friendship with Pierre. Interview.

How do you feel a few days after your elimination?

I'm very happy to be back in the real world. I find the pleasure of talking again with my family and friends. Honestly, I'm very happy. It was already an accomplishment for me to be able to do Star Academy. Everything that happened after that was just a bonus.

Have you caught up on your sleep?

Not yet, because I've had a lot of things to do! But it's true that I'm exhausted. I don't know if people realize, but we don't have a moment of respite at Star Academy. We're always doing something. Our only moments of respite are in the evening, at bedtime. So, we take the opportunity with the other students to talk and laugh a little, and it's our sleep that suffers!

You were very close to Margot and yet she didn't vote for you on Saturday night. Do you blame him?

No, not at all. I have absolutely no hard feelings. On Saturday afternoon, before the prime, I told all the other students that I wouldn't blame anyone for not choosing me. I've been a voter myself and I know how hard it is to get someone out. Margot was very close to Djebril before we paired up. I don't blame him at all and I wish him all the best for the rest of the adventure.

You also became good friends with Pierre. How can we explain this beautiful complicity?

It's true that he immediately hit it off with Pierre. We both have a really great feeling, we understand each other. It's funny because we were even saying the same things word for word when we were asked questions. He was really a great support for me during Star Academy. We confided in each other and knew we could count on each other.

Which teacher made the biggest impression on you?

I'm going to pick two (laughs). First of all, Malika, the dance teacher. I would really like to thank her because I thought every dance class was going to be an ordeal for me and she made me appreciate that. So no, I'm not going to start doing choreography in my living room, but I'm much more comfortable with my body. And I also owe a lot to Lucie, the singing teacher. She's always been there for me. It gave me a boost when I had a lack of confidence in certain performances.

What is your best memory of Star Academy?

It's hard to pick just one... Already, there was the duet with Grand Corps Malade. I dreamed of singing on Grand Corps Malade before entering Star Academy and there, I had the chance to cover one of his hits with him! It was a magical moment that I would love to relive thousands of times. Grand Corps Malade has been very kind to me and I thank him for all the positive things he has been able to tell me behind the scenes. Two other moments also stood out to me: when I defended myself on the song Casting by Christophe Maé during my first nomination, because I felt that I could touch people, and when I covered a song by Ben Mazué last Saturday for the last prime.

And your worst memory?

My big moment of loneliness during the last evaluation. It was quite complicated to manage. I have a very expressive look so the teachers immediately saw that I was paralyzed when I took out very wrong notes. Today, I prefer to laugh about it!

Who do you think can win Star Academy?

I think Pierre is going to win this season and I'm not saying that because he's my mate. He's a real artist with a unique voice that I think will take him very, very far.

And you, what are your plans?

I'm going to take some time for myself and enjoy my loved ones during the holiday season. Usually, I work a lot at this time of year, so I'll finally be able to take a breather! Then I'm just going to focus on the music. That's what I need now. I know it's going to take a lot of work, but I feel ready!
