Lead Actress and Co-Producer Kardashian: Everyone Wanted Her Movie

TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, 43, will soon appear in a larger film role. She will star in the comedy "The Fifth Wheel" and serve as a producer, Netflix announced on Sunday.
Kardashian will play the titular "fifth wheel" in the women's comedy. However, the rest of the content is under wraps, the streaming service said. Longtime »Saturday Night Live« writer Paula Pell, who previously wrote the script for the sister comedy »Sisters« (2016), is responsible for production and screenplay.
According to »Deadline.com«, five streaming services and studios had tried to get involved in the Kardashian project. In the end, the contract went to Netflix. As the industry service has learned, Kim Kardashian is said to have personally pitched the comedy film very dedicatedly.
Kardashian is known for the reality TV show »Keeping Up With The Kardashians«. Since September, she has also appeared in a role in the US horror series »American Horror Story: Delicate«. She also helped as a voice actress on two "Paw Patrol" films.
