Liuzhou, October 10 (Lin Xin) A few days ago, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment released the "Top 31 Cities and Water Bodies in the Third Quarter of 2023 and from January to September in the National Surface Water Assessment Section", and from January to September this year, Liuzhou's water quality ranked first among cities at the prefecture level and above. Previously, the city had won the national surface water quality champion for three consecutive years.
From January to September, the surface water quality index of Liuzhou City was 1.9, the proportion of excellent surface water quality reached 2%, and the water quality of each monitoring section reached or exceeded the water quality assessment target. The water quality compliance rate of centralized drinking water sources at the city and county levels is 4477%, and the quality of the water ecological environment continues to improve.

In order to protect the clear water and blue sky, the Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment holds monthly water quality analysis meetings, and formulates the "Work Plan for the Special Action to Guard Liuzhou's Water Quality Golden Signboard", sorts out the list of problems that need to be solved urgently, and takes targeted measures to promote the rectification of problems.
At the same time, Liuzhou City launched the "Qinqing Liujiang River Volunteer Service Brand", recruited a group of river protection volunteers in the city, strengthened public supervision, and constantly polished the golden signboard of Liujiang River's "leading water quality".
In order to control the illegal activities such as cultivating vegetables and building Diaoyutai along the Liujiang River, and protect the "health" of the ecological environment of the Liujiang River, since the beginning of this year, the water comprehensive law enforcement detachment of the Liuzhou City Management Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau has opened the "water, land and air" law enforcement mode such as boat patrol, road inspection, and drone investigation, and conducted a "physical examination" on urban management stubborn diseases such as illegal vegetable fields along the Liujiang River.
