On April 27, a fishing boat caught fire in the sea near the center of Tailing Town, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City. After receiving the alarm, the local fire department immediately organized fire fighting forces to rush to the scene.

On the sea 200 meters away from the dock, a civilian fishing boat with a length of about 20 meters and a width of about 4 meters was billowing thick smoke. The rescuers immediately contacted the crew and asked the crew to drive the boat to the open area beside the dock.

The fishing boat consists of three layers, the top layer is the cockpit, the middle layer is the ordinary cabin, and the bottom layer is the deck cabin.

The crew told rescuers that there may have been an engine fire in the deck hold, where diesel fuel was stored.

Rescuers immediately launched a rescue.

After nearly an hour of intense fighting, the fire was successfully put out.

According to the crew members, there were more than a dozen crew members on the fishing boat at that time, and they were preparing to go out to sea for fishing. The fishing boat had just left a distance of 200 meters from the pier, and suddenly the crew found thick smoke coming out of the deck. After a while, the smoke was getting bigger and bigger. The crew immediately stopped the ship and called the police for help.

At present, the cause of the fire is still under further investigation.
