Actor Heo Seong-tae told the story behind 'Squid Game'.

Heo Seong-tae, who appeared on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interfere' (hereinafter 'All-Time') broadcast on the 23rd, was asked various questions about 'Squid Game' from MCs. Heo Seong-tae played the role of the villain Deok-soo in the Netflix original drama 'Squid Game', a worldwide popular craze.

When asked how many times he had watched 'Squid Game', Heo Seong-tae showed his affection for the work, saying, "I've seen it twenty times. I used to watch it 7-8 times by myself and again with my family." When asked about the scene he liked, he said, "I filmed it for a year, and I lost some weight in the middle because of enteritis. At that time, he looked good-looking."

When asked if he felt his global popularity, Heo Seong-tae said, "I had 10,000 followers on SNS, but I hit 2 million."

Heo Seong-tae quit his job at the age of 30, saying he wanted to become an actor after attending a large corporation. He made his debut as an actor by appearing in SBS 'Miracle Audition', an actor selection audition program aired in 2011, who had never formally learned acting.

When asked if he knew that he had a talent for acting, Heo Seong-tae said, "I found out in the bathroom. I watched a movie and imitated it after watching a gag program and imitating it. Still, I did 'How do I act'. ' When I showed Choi Min-sik sunbaenim's acting, the judges got serious." He said, "I did it because the judges praised me.

Heo Seong-tae, who met comedian Lee Seung-yoon in 'At War', was unusually happy. Because he is a huge fan of 'I Am a Natural Man'. Heo Seong-tae said, "I watch 'I am a natural person' dozens of times, and "I set it to play and continue to watch. I listen to it while washing the dishes. I watch it the most except for the works I've been working on."

On this day's broadcast, Seungyoon Lee went to an uninhabited island and filmed 'I Am a Natural Person'. Entering the island was like a scene from the 'Squid Game'.

Heo Seong-tae brought up the story behind the filming of 'Squid Game'. Although 'Squid Game' was set in Seongapdo Island, Incheon, he explained that most of the actual filming took place on the set. He also revealed that the bed used by the game participants was a real iron bed, and that the playground where they played hide and seek was also real. However, unlike the number of game participants in the drama of 456, he said, "Actually, the maximum number of participants was 300."
