On July 22, French singer Mireille Mathieu celebrates her 75th birthday. At home, she gained fame back in the mid-1960s, and later - after the release of the song Together We're Strong, recorded in a duet with actor Patrick Duffy - she became famous abroad. Many people remember the artist thanks to hits such as Pardonne-moi ce caprice d'enfant, C'est Ton Nom, Qu'elle Est Belle and Der Pariser Tango. Mireille Mathieu was awarded the Russian Order of Friendship, and in 2016 she became the ambassador of the Russian language to the world.
