Porcupine and alpaca babies are born one after another at the zoo in Higashiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, and their lovely appearance is gaining popularity.

At "Animal Kingdom" in Higashiizu Town, four animals such as wallabies, porcupines, and alpaca have been born one after another since December last year.

Of these, "African Crested Porcupine" had two male and female babies born on the 7th of last month, and the male was named "Nick" and the female was named "Olivia".

The zoo has been breeding porcupines for three years, but this is the first time a baby has been born, and the two have now grown to about one kilogram, more than three times their weight.

At the exhibition corner, they showed their lovely appearance by eating cabbage and apples with their parents and moving around energetically, and the tourists who visited took pictures while saying that they were "cute".

Alpaca babies who were born about a week ago are also gaining popularity, and this is about to be a busy spring.
