The story begins with passion, and with a lot of determination to achieve the goal, regardless of the challenges ... These are stories that are summarized to us by young people and experimenters who have bet on their abilities and started their professional life and their small projects from scratch, to grow with time and grow with dreams and ambition.

The beginnings are not easy, but they are often characterized by simple successes, which grow with the passage of days and the maturity of the experience.

As for reaching the shore of success, it is an achievement fraught with much support and encouragement from those around, and perseverance every day.

On this page, we learn about youth stories ... their ambitions ... their challenges and their success stories.

From a medical trip, the Lebanese, Ali Al-Jibawi, was inspired by the idea of establishing a salt cave project in Dubai, as the idea came to him after his travel to Hungary years ago, after the son of a friend of his was suffering from chronic asthma, so they went to that country to treat him with salt rooms, and after he witnessed how Improvement He decided to implement the project in Dubai, which he describes as a city that helps investment and stimulates success due to the many cultures it includes.

The launch brought many challenges, but the most prominent of which remains, for Al Jibawi, the aspect related to educating people about the concept of this type of treatment, which is one of the modern methods in the region, and there is no knowledge base for the public about it, in addition to a set of difficulties facing the owner of any project to reach success.

The starting point

About the beginning of the Salt Cave project, Al-Jibawi said in his interview with Emirates Today: “After examining the experience of my friend’s child, I began to study how to establish the project, from obtaining licenses, down to the cost, site selection, work team, etc., and after passing the starting point, We entered a difficult phase that lasted a year and a half, in which it went to educate people about the benefits of salt therapy, as its concept was not known, and what is the benefit for people through this cave at that time.

He added: "The first period of establishing the project was loaded with many difficulties, but to this day the issue of instilling a culture of salt therapy among people remains the most difficult, given that it is a treatment that was widespread in many western countries, including Canada and New Zealand, but it was not known in our region." .

The owner of the project pointed out that after the passage of the first period the idea began to meet with success and popularity among the public, after he had experienced, from experience, the benefit from the Salt Cave.

Phase

On the stages of establishing the cave and summoning the salt, Al-Jebawi explained that this was in agreement with the parent company in Hungary, because the cave contains 14 tons of salt, with a set of devices working to pump air and salt, and purify it through air circulation, as it uses a special type of salt It is imported from a mine in Krakow in Poland, and this type of salt has European approval, noting that the salt on the ground is replaced every six months, while the salt for treatment is replaced after each session.

With regard to the treatment session and its duration, it is about 45 minutes, in which the salt inhales for approximately a quarter of an hour, while the person must stay in the salt room for the duration of the treatment, and after the session ends, the drawing machines work to purify the salt and air.

Al-Jibawi said that salt contributes to the treatment of several diseases, including eczema and psoriasis, and tightens the skin, in addition to sinusitis and asthma, as it is one of the well-known treatments in Eastern European countries where there is no sea, and in which salt mines were used for treatment, as residents intended to stay in them for a period of time. Hence, the idea of salt chambers that simulate these mines was developed, and he stressed that the treatment is through inhaling salt and not eating it, as some fear the effect of salt on high blood pressure, while natural does not raise pressure.

Candidates for treatment are people over the age of six months, as there are no side effects from salt, except for those who suffer from high fever, as they cannot undergo treatment and enter the cave.

Development

The development of the project and expansion to other emirates was not excluded by Al-Jibawi, as he was working on a plan to expand the project to Abu Dhabi before the start of the Corona pandemic, but he postponed the opening of any other branch for the time being, stressing that the Salt Cave in Dubai was the first of its kind in The region, in Egypt they produce salt, and they liked the idea and worked to provide treatment rooms, as well as some similar ideas in other emirates.

Al-Jibawi gave advice to all those who want to start a business or a new project, to work on studying the market properly first, how to market and choose the site, and good marketing for it, that is, to develop more than one plan to ensure its success, with the ability to adapt to the circumstances and switch plans at the right time and take into account Consider having a period to devote to managing the project well.

In light of "Corona"

On how to provide salt therapy sessions in light of the precautionary measures imposed by the Corona pandemic, Ali Al-Jibawi explained that the treatment is very safe, because it is medically recognized that viruses do not live on salt, because it is a chemical and disinfectant substance, indicating that a set of procedures are carried out inside the center. Which related to the method of reserving the sessions, as the bilateral and tripartite sessions that were reserved by friends together were canceled, so the sessions became solely only, in addition to the commitment to sterilization, and the prevention of any procedures that require the exchange of items between the employee and the client, and there is also an effort to purify the air for a full 15 minutes.

I advise those who want to start a business to study the market properly first.
