On the 25th, Nantong Airport Group Co., Ltd. issued a "Statement" stating that the man arrived in Nantong without taking the flight.
According to a notice issued by the Baoying County Public Security Bureau of Yangzhou City on the evening of the 24th, on January 21st, Wen (male, 27 years old, from Shanxi) traveled by plane from Changchun City, a high-risk area to Nantong City.
On January 22, Wen drove to Baoying after meeting his wife Wang in Nantong City.
At 3 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day at a hotel in Baoying, Wen deliberately concealed his trip to Changchun and checked in with his wife's mobile phone to scan the code.
Nantong Airport reported that today, after discovering that “Wen traveled to Nantong by plane from Changchun City, a high-risk area of the epidemic”, Nantong Airport attached great importance to it and immediately organized a working group to conduct verification of the relevant situation.
After investigation, there was no Changchun flight at Nantong Airport on January 21.
After verification by the public security organs, Wen took the opportunity to a neighboring city and then entered Nantong and drove with his wife to Baoying.
At present, Wen and his wife have been quarantined and have undergone nucleic acid screening. The public security organs will punish them for non-compliance with epidemic prevention regulations.
