[Explanation] China's first non-state-owned Maritime Silk Road Museum, invested by Shimao Group and cooperating with the Palace Museum, held an opening ceremony on January 20 in Shishi City, Quanzhou, Fujian.

The Shimao Maritime Silk Road Museum in Fujian Province, which took two and three months to build, was unveiled.

Through this museum, more people can understand the "Belt and Road" people-to-people bond, including our trade exchanges, including some of the relationships between the "Belt and Road" (countries along the route) and us, so let Everyone has a better understanding of the cultural connotation of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the Shimao Sea Silk Museum covers an area of ​​11,482 square meters, with a construction area of ​​30,718 square meters. It is composed of Gongchen Building, Chunhua Building, Qiurong Building, Dongque Building, and Xique Building. Fully integrated with the beauty and agility of the Southern Minshu House, there are two thematic exhibition halls of the Forbidden City, the Shimao Collection Exhibition Hall, the Maritime Silk Road Exhibition Hall, the Silk Road Landscape Map Digital Exhibition Hall and the Forbidden Academy of the Forbidden City.

Among them, the Silk Road Landscape Map Digital Exhibition uses digital and contextual methods to reproduce the historical features along the Silk Road, helping the audience to more intuitively experience the splendor of the exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and Western civilizations.

  In fact, many of the cultural relics collected by the Forbidden City are closely related to the Maritime Silk Road and the Land Silk Road, reflecting the history of cultural exchanges and mutual learning.

So we are also prepared to support the development of this museum in the long term.
