According to Wu Jinglei, director of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, Shanghai has reported 3 confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia.
The Zhaotong residential area of Huangpu District (the area south of Fuzhou Road) is classified as a medium-risk area, and the risk level of other areas in Shanghai remains unchanged.
Wu Jinglei told reporters that after overnight investigations, the relevant departments have traced 71 close contacts of the three cases mentioned above in Shanghai, 37 of whom had negative nucleic acid test results for the first time, and the rest are being tested.
Relevant personnel have implemented centralized quarantine medical observation measures and will conduct sampling review after 24 hours.
It is reported that Shanghai has screened 14,411 people, 10971 people have tested negative, and the rest are being tested.
