A wedding celebration in Berlin-Mitte has been canceled by the police due to violations of the corona rules.

A caller made the officials aware of the company with 60 people in an apartment in Badstrasse on Saturday evening, as a spokesman announced on Sunday.

First the "Berliner Kurier" reported (online).

"We asked people to go to their homes," said the spokesman.

All personal details as well as 56 violations of infection protection were noted.

"A lot more people met here than from someone else's household."

As the first federal minister, Heiko Maas (SPD), head of the foreign office, calls for people with corona vaccination to be allowed to visit restaurants or cinemas earlier than others.

"Vaccinated people should be able to exercise their basic rights again," Maas told "Bild am Sonntag".

“It has not yet been conclusively clarified to what extent people who have been vaccinated can infect others.

But what is clear: A vaccinated person will no longer take a ventilator away from someone.

This means that at least one central reason for restricting fundamental rights is no longer applicable. "

Maas also remembered the operators of currently closed restaurants, cinemas, theaters and museums.

“They have the right to reopen their operations at some point if there is a possibility.

And there is when more and more people are vaccinated.

Because once there are only vaccinated people in the restaurant or cinema, they can no longer endanger each other. "

Altmaier apparently wants to radically simplify corona aid for companies

In view of application and payment difficulties with corona aid for companies, Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier (CDU) plans, according to a media report, a significant simplification of the applications and a substantial increase in aid.

In future, only one criterion should apply to receiving bridging aid III, reported the magazine “Der Spiegel” on Saturday evening.

Because of the corona pandemic, you must have suffered a decrease in sales of at least 30 percent in the month eligible for application.

According to the report, the monthly aid sums are to be increased: companies that are directly affected by closures should receive up to 1.5 million euros from the federal government, instead of the current maximum of 500,000 euros.

All other businesses could receive up to a million, writes the "Spiegel".

So far, this amount has been capped at 200,000 euros.

In addition, according to the report, Altmaier plans to include larger companies in the aid in the future: Instead of 500 million euros in annual sales, the upper limit should be 750 million euros in future.

"That is a clear improvement to the top," said the "Spiegel" from the Federal Ministry of Economics.

On top of that, another requirement of the retail trade should be met: Altmaier plans to give companies the option of so-called partial value depreciation.

If, for example, a fashion store cannot sell winter goods because it had to close, it should in future be able to write off 100 percent of the loss from the fixed costs of its operation.
