- I wanted to achieve a nostalgia trip and a timelessness.

Due to the pandemic, this whole idea of focusing a lot in France and Germany was put on ice.

Then there was this folder with a lot of Swedish songs and this dream I have had about making a Swedish record, says Benjamin Ingrosso.

This summer he recorded So Much Better and interpreted other Swedish artists.

Two of the tracks on the new album are from the program, including his version of Lisa Nilsson's Slow Farewell.

- I saw myself participating in So much better when I was much older to be able to talk about my whole life.

But then I started thinking that I have been doing this for ten years anyway.

And I felt safe as a songwriter and composer - that I could come up with some good interpretations, he says.

Current with a cooking program

In addition to the new album, it is in our premiere for Benjamin Ingrosso's own cooking program.

- It was sickly intense and fun to record.

It is a food and music program where I invite all possible guests that I admire and want to get to know, says Ingrosso.
