China News Service, Hong Kong, January 9th. To celebrate the first "Chinese People's Police Day", Director of the Hong Kong Police Department Deng Bingqiang sent a letter to the Ministry of Public Security to express warm congratulations on behalf of the Hong Kong Police Force.
The letter said that as a member of the police team, the Hong Kong Police Force and You Rongyan.
Deng Bingqiang said in his letter that the Chinese People's Police have always performed their duties loyally and selflessly for the country, and made major contributions to social security and stability.
The State Council has instructed that starting from 2021, January 10 will be designated as "Chinese People's Police Day" to affirm the people's police's contribution to the country and the people; as a member of the police team, the Hong Kong Police Force and Yourong Yan.
Over the past year or so, the Hong Kong Police Force has undergone many tests. With the support of the public security organs in the Mainland, the Hong Kong Police Force has risen to the challenge and persisted in safeguarding national sovereignty, maintaining the rule of law, stopping violence and curbing chaos, and restoring peace to Hong Kong society.
Looking forward to the future, the Hong Kong Police Force will continue to guard its posts, strive to maintain law and order, and work closely with colleagues in the Mainland to jointly maintain social prosperity and stability.
Deng Bingqiang led all Hong Kong police officers to congratulate the "Chinese People's Police Day" and wish all police colleagues good health and family happiness.
