"Alexandre Brasseur paid tribute to his father Claude on Tuesday morning, in the church of Saint-Roch, in Paris, where the funeral of the actor, who died a week ago at the age of 84, took place.
“You told me that your only small ambition would be to be part of the nostalgia for tomorrow.
I believe that all of us here are already nostalgic for yesterday.

"Claude Brasseur worked on his talent to share it and, in return, was so loved by the French," greeted Father Luc Reydel, chaplain of the artists.
Personalities in the audience
Several personalities including Nicole Calfan, Jean-Paul Rouve, Jean Benguigui and filmmakers Danièle Thompson and Fabien Onteniente, as well as hundreds of anonymous attended the religious service.
Claude Brasseur was buried in the afternoon and in strict privacy in the Père-Lachaise cemetery, where his father, the actor Pierre Brasseur, rests.
In more than sixty years of career, Claude Brasseur will have turned in more than 110 films, also passing by the cases television and theater.
