On December 8, our city added 4 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 1 asymptomatic infection.
Among them, 1 person is the granddaughter of yesterday's confirmed case Lu (XX), and 1 person is a relative or friend who has recently lived in the home of the confirmed case.
The other 3 persons are all villagers of Taiping Village.
The above cases have been transferred to Chengdu Public Health Clinical Medical Center for isolation and treatment.
[Explanation] It is understood that as of 20:00 on December 8, the expanded nucleic acid test in Chengdu has covered 255,200, and a total of 60,500 nucleic acid tests have been completed. 6 people were positive (excluding the first case), and the rest were negative. .

After investigation, as of 8 o'clock on December 8 (20 o'clock), 163 close contacts of the above confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections have been traced, 143 people have completed nucleic acid sampling, 73 people are negative, and the remaining results are pending.
(The positive cases detected) are all close contacts of the first diagnosed case, or villagers in the same village.
The daily activities are mostly in the vegetable market and mahjong hall in the village.
A total of 515 environmental samples were collected in the city, and a total of 448 tests were completed, of which 13 were positive. All of these 13 were detected in the homes of the first-diagnosed patients and the surfaces of the used items, and the rest were negative.
A total of 140 food samples were tested and the results were all negative.
[Explanation] Regarding the situation of Zhao, the granddaughter of Lu, the granddaughter of the confirmed case, Pu Fayou, the head of the Chenghua District People’s Government of Chengdu, introduced that in the past 14 days, Zhao’s main places of stay include: MCC Central Park, Hi Blue Nail shop, alleys and alleys mala Tang, Haiwuli small bar, playhouse bar, Hepburn bar, etc.

As of 6 o’clock this afternoon, according to Zhao's activity trajectory, we have traced Zhao's (some) 91 close contacts, 130 sub-close contacts, and 838 general contacts. All of them have implemented isolation control measures. And nucleic acid testing; a total of 3,050 people and 112 environmental samples have been tested for the new coronavirus nucleic acid, and the test results are all negative.
The samples collected after 6 pm today are still being tested.
[Explanation] Currently, Taiping Village, Pitong Street, Pidu District, Chengdu is listed as a medium-risk area.
Liu Yinyong, the head of the People's Government of the Pidu District of Chengdu, said that Taiping Village has been closed for management. A total of 28 traffic checkpoints have been set up, guarded by 20 policemen, 267 village officials and community volunteers, to restrict entry and exit.
