The report says that "in the second half of December, the frost anticyclone will be forced to make room."

Forecasters predict that "in the north of European Russia, in the center of the country, Primorye and on the Pacific coast under the influence of cyclones, the weather will be warmer than usual."

It is specified that the south of the Russian Plain, the Urals, Siberia and most of the Far East will be in the zone of the cold temperature anomaly.

In Siberia, by the New Year holidays, the anomaly will reach its maximum values - the average temperature may be more than 5 ° C below normal.

Forecasters note that cyclones will bring an unstable temperature regime to Central Russia - "cold snaps will quickly be replaced by heat waves, one of which is just expected on New Year's Eve."

Earlier, Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, spoke about the weather in Moscow in December.
